    some have serial # on receiver side, mine has 5 digit # om base of the trigger frame, how can you tell which model is which ?
    the rifle has a butt plate like a ruger 22.
    and remington UMC on it and a cpl other places
    would like to know what I have and price range. I am going to a antique auction tomorrow. and then it may end up in the safe.

    In the condition you describe, I would say, somewhere between $150.00-200.00. It looks nice enough, but the slightly pitted bore, and freckling, does not make it a collector grade. The 30 Remington rounds are hard to find, especially in this day in age, so that takes away from the shooter category too. If I am not mistaken, they were made in 25, 30, 32, and 35 Remington. By far, the 35 is the most popular, and the 25 is the least.

    that in the barrel pitting should have read slight pitting ON
