Lyman #59

I have a m52b with a lyman 59 with extension.. I can not find any information about the 59 is it original equipment sight or has the 48F been replaced?

  I can't recall a factory order number for a 52 with factory installed Lyman 59. I suspect it didn't come that way.

  thank you, now, could you offer a link to a site referencing the 59? I have done google searches with no result, not even a photo I have listed my 52b on the other side, perhaps i should pull the 59 off of it and sell it separately?

  OK, just checked my copy of "old gunsights". Lyman listed a model 58 and a model 60 (and a bunch of others), but no 59.
  
  I recall seeing your 52 listed; what was the auction number?
  
  OK, saw your picture and the "59" stamp. It is most certainly a Lyman 524 or 525; maybe possible that it was called a 59 at some point then the model number changed.
