what pistol do u think is the most reliable of all of them 0 -
I have a rat grade 1911 that is very reliable, not very accurate because it loose enough to accommodate crud. 0 -
I like the Ruger 1911SR even though they are prone to rusting especially beneath the wooden grips which were replaced with a set of lime green "Glow in the Dark Zombie Grips" cheaply obtained on sale from midwayusa. Otherwise, reasonably accurate and never fails to function with my hollow point reloads; and Ruger customer service representatives provide great service. 0 -
A Tokarev. With the bottlenosed cartridge, as long as the slide isn't frozen, it will load. 0 -
Stay away from super small compact as a general rule Yes I know someone will say they have never had a failure with their Micro MINI BRAND ABC however the longer the barrel time the better chance you will develop The correct recoil impulse To fully cycle the Slide. even if you limp wrist the gun or flinch 0 -
If reliablity is the variable, then a revolver is the answer as typically when you pull the trigger they go "bang" every time as semi's have troubles with loading, underpowered rounds, slide locks, on and on. But I like my Colt 1911A1 but don't CC it as it weighs too much....I go with a little lightweight Ruger revolver in .38. 0 -
Smith & Wesson K frame 357 magnum models 13, 19, 65, 66 0 -
Glock.
It's the AK47 of handguns.0 -
I have a Colt Series 70 that was bought brand new in 1983 and the only jam was a reload with primer only no powder. Tapped out the round with a dowel pin. Other than that flawless in 31 yrs. I doubt any Glock can match that. 0 -
As of today I have never seen a Makarov jam either. 0 -
range,
You need to define reliable, a bit more. Reliable in function or stopping power? If stopping power, also define, on what you wish to stop, somewhere in between a mouse, and locomotive.
For total reliability, I do believe that Glock has the scale tipped in the majority of their models, in the auto pistol world. Other that, in the world of revolvers, the S&W double action, hand ejector models are hard to beat.
