Unknown Gun, Need Help Identifying

Does anyone know what this old gun is?
There are no markings anywhere on it.

  Looks a lot like a sten gun. Never seen one with an adjustable rear sight (no point), but it could be, as there are many variations. The owner should probably check it for full auto operation, & take appropriate action if it is.

  It looks like a dummy gun to me. Notice how you can look into the action where the mag would poke through on a real gun? It's solid, unable to take a mag.
  
  Also, the bolt is all wrong and wouldn't work right.
  
  Some kids toy.

  Movie prop gun. That bolt design would not feed any cartridge reliably. It looks pieced together.
