Colt Diamondback 22lr 4'' bbl
I may be in position to buy a Diamondback in 22 with a 4" bbl. It does have some holster wear but looks good and is far from a project gun, probably 85% or better with a date of manufacture of 1976 according to the seller.
It does have rubber colt grips, and no box.
What is a safe cash offer I can make on this gun. I would buy it to either sell here or trade at a gunshow down the road.

Try $800. 0 -
Diamondback 22's are pricy guns. 85% is the kicker though. Not collector quality, with that much finish wear, IMHO.
Being your not a collector, who would buy it for professional restoration. But buying it for resale or trade. I would only offer 60%, of what you figure you can get out of it. Gives you a fudge factor if you got to sit on it, for awhile.0 -
Original grips, if you can find them, would run $200. Most folks want them.
I wouldn't pay > $350-400 as it is.

Thanks guys, I had to let it go. The seller was a bit more proud of it than he should be. 0
