Ruger No.1 barrel swivel

ANyone know of a place to buy a barrel swivel for a No.1? I don't think the forend has enogh meat for a standard screw in...

DO NOT PUT IT ON THE FORE END...
Call Brownells and ask for a barrel band swivel....

??? My 30 plus years old Ruger No. 1 has a QD sling swivel installed on the forearm and buttstock. So far, no problems when carrying with sling.

I lost one a long time ago that was on the fore end, it sure messed a good scope up.
The barrel got snagged on a limb, and off it popped.. 'O(
I swore I would never put one on there again, and went the barrel band for insurance..
Your luck must be better than mine was..
