remington 500 ser. action

this action is for the rem 500 ser. but it has no barrel pin holes ,i am trying to find out which rifle it went and how they keep the barrel on without any pins

  yes its my rec. and looks like all 500 ser. rec expect it has no holes for the barrel pins

  everthing is correct in the breakdown but the is no holes to put the pins in (part 48)

  Maybe a factory NOS replacement receiver meant for service centers?

  thanks your the 2th person to tell its a nos rec. they said the mil.bought them as spares when they got they parts for there training rifles .it make sense that its nos as its not drilled for the barrel pins
