Hawkshaw,
There are three versions of it, all escalating in price. I think the newest is around $1200.00. The first generation will compensate for trajectory out to 600 Yards, while the last one, if I am not mistaken has windage compensation too. As far as I know, the Burris version, are the only ones with this compensation built in. Burris spent a lot of money in R&D on these. They must be used and set up as prescribed. The load specifics are programmed to the scope, then it is sighted in and calibrated at short and long range. Comparatively, yes they are worth their $$.

Anyone gotten a newer Burris Eliminator 3 scope? They sure look nice, little apprehensive about all the programing and speeding that much and not knowing how good it works. Thanks for your input. 0 -

Burris has put millions of dollars into development of this system, thru the three variations, each being an improvement over the others. The latest version Eliminator III, adjust elevation and windage for you. When properly calibrated to your rifle's specifics and load, it is worth every penny of it's price. Just wish they used better glass, but if they did, then the price would be at least triple of what it is.0 -
No personal experiance, but two friends that use the eliminator and really like it. both custom rifles, one a 300 RUM, the other a 25-06
