7.62 X 25 Tokarev 8 rnd Clips
What gun did the 7.62 x 25 Tokarev on 8 round clips go to? I've got a Broomhandle and would like to have more stripper clips and am wondering if the 8 round clips would fit in the C96 clip guide slot? I know my C96 holds 10 but eight is enough for plinking at the range. Just curious, what gun were these made for?
And no, I don't shoot the Tokarev's straight up; I pull the bullet, change to 4.5 grains of Bullseye, and reseat the bullet. Works just fine, is fairly cheap, and saves the search for the spent empties.
Thanks

A 223/5.56 stripper clip may work for you... same case head size as 9mm, 380, etc. 0 -
They were made for Czech submachineguns, CZ24 and 26?
Sarco has C96 stripper clips.

The 8 round stripper clips. Were made for a Czech submachine gun. One of the features was a loading fixture on the forearm. The loaded clip was placed on the fixture, and the mag was pushed up to strip the cartridges into the mag.

The 8 rnd stripper clips work VERY poorly in the Broomhandle. If you have nothing else they can be made to work but they are a poor substitute. I tried them. 0 -
Thanks guys; I knew you had the answers I was looking for. 0 -
Not really on subject topic, but those Tokarev strippers work great to load 1911 Steyr 9mm.pistols. 0 -
I have a question, why not just buy stripper clips meant for it? They seem easy enough to get online. Do they not work or are you just re-purposing what you have? I'm not familiar with them is why I ask. 0 -
Those clips were issued for the Chinese Tokarev pistol pouches which held two.
The pouches aren't long enough to hold magazines, just two loaded stripper clips.0
