Browning experts: BL-22 maple question
I posted the folliowng question on the General Discussion forum and didn't get a solid answer, so I thought I'd try here:
I've looked at a Browning BL-22 lever-action .22 with engraving and blond maple furniture and was told it is a limited-production rifle (one of 250). Does anyone know if that's true? I see a lot of them listed on various websites so am suspicious.

Maybe ask them. Maple isn't my favorite stock material.0 -
i know where there is 40 of them 0 -
I doubt that 250 number. I've seen a lot of them for sale but few sold.
Personally, give me the walnut stocks any day.0 -
not sure of the actual production number, but I was told browning only made these for one year. I have seen the BL's and the semi auto's with the blonde wood. 0
