WaA77 was the waffenampt for Arba GmbH, in Petrikau Poland in 1944. If that's on the trigger, it won't tell you much, other than where the trigger came from. Yugo and Czech refurbs were assembled with what ever was handy, and in spec.
The "J" sometimes has a lower case "p" next to it. Unfortunately it's one of about three unknown barrel codes, for the barrel manufacturer. Look on the bottom of the receiver, just behind the recoil lug for more markings. They will be assembly proofs, but once in a while you get lucky and there's more.

WaA77 marked triggers/floorplates/bolt sleeves and such were put on 98k's made at Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG, Steyr with the code bnz so that part of your rifle most likely came from there. As TRAP55 has told you, Yugo rifles were made up from lots of parts from all over from left over partsbins and left over rifles....just puttogether jobs.

jaws55...glad usin's on ATE could be of help![:)] You might want to get "into" the Yugo collecting mode and find some others of their rifles including the ones they actually made after the War (like M48's and such) that are similar to the "putogether" 98k's rifles and are nice.
