Ruger ring question
Does Ruger still exchange new rings if the ones from a new rifle don't work?

i'm taking a guess that you are using a large objective scope, and the rings supplied are not tall enough. now you can purchase single rings to match the need.
Brownell's sells them.0 -
Ruger used to exchange rings that were new if you needed a different height. I wouldn't think that buying 1 ring for the front to accomodate a larger objective would be very wise w/o changing out the rear one. 0 -
Ruger rings are different sizes front to back. Check out the chart to see what came with your model and what you need for the scope. Move what you have forward or back and buy the other.

Maybe that's part of the problem, not only are they to low the are 1" and not 30mm. 0 -
Thanks for the answers, I didn't realize that the rings were different sizes since this was my first Ruger. I did find the answer to my question, and the answer is yes, they will still exchange new unused rings from newly purchased guns. Thanks again.
