Glock 27 commemorative?

A friend has recently acquired a Glock 27 which he says has the letters us at the end of the serial#(crh05xus).
Can someone tell me whether or not this is a commemorative model?

  No. I have a Model 17 that I bought new in 1987. That has a "US" suffix, on the serial number.
