.22 cylinders ID please ?!?!?!?!?!?

Can anyone tell me what these are? There doesnt appear to be any numbers at all that I can find.

  This model is most likely a convertible . One cylinder is 22LR other 22 Mag. if you get a box of Mag ammo they will chamber in one cylinder The 22 Mag one the other will be the 22LR cylinder

  They do look like Colt .22, but most I've seen (not very many) have the correct cartridge for each roll marked on them.

  I got this off the net. The flutes and bolt notches look closed to the OP's photos. It's a inexpensive German revolver made by Herbert Schmidt. The were imported and sold by a number of different U.S. distributors. They were sold under different names, such as "Buffalo Scout", Deputy Marshal", etc.

  I'm thinking Hawes (which would have been made by J P Saur & Sohn). The .22LR is pretty common, the .22 mag fairly hard to come by for some reason. IIRC the last one I sold went for aroun $75.00.

Have same one in picture, first pistol I ever owned, and still have. I have shot thousands of .22 Long Rifle through it 6 rounds at a time.[^] Never a single problem ever, but the cylinder is a little tight on certain kinds of lead bullet cartridges.   I looked at my Herbert Schmidt and two things to look at: Is there a small German Eagle stamped at one of the flutes on the cylinders; your picture with the cylinder on the left looks like my cylinder but cannot confirm this without looking at the other side. The cartridge side of mine is counter bored so that the cartridge sits flush with the cylinder, otherwise it would not clear the recoil shield. The cylinder on the right in your picture does not appear to be counter bored.
