Buddy smoked a nice 10 pointer
It is winter bow here in south Jersey and no one hunts. I mean no one. The hunting pressure is so great in the weeks of December that everyone thinks there are no bucks left. Well, surprise, surprise. my best friend, Paul Wells, just smoked a nice 10 pointer on public land here. He said he was traveling with another buck, an 8 pointer. y pictures wont load so i cant post a picture[}:)] He shot it at 15 yards with his crossbow. He said the deer never even flinched. Just kept eating and then all of a sudden, he fell over on his side. I went over to see it and man, he is a giant for New Jersey. 187 pounds. Our average deer here is about 90 to 110 lbs.
