Led nock installation
How do you work wirh carbon shafts? Heat them just a tad?

Should just slip in. Fit should be snug, but most nocks do not take well to heat. I have seen them become brittle & shatter after just a little heat.
Check to make sure you have the correct size for your shaft.0 -
Putting them in is one thing, the old ones dont just slip out. Ive been working with arrows for forty years so its not new to me, but I dont want to heat the carbon arrows if you are not supposed to. 0 -
Are your old nocks glued in?
If so, you are screwed for LED nocks.
To the best of my knowledge, no good will come from heating a carbon arrow shaft.
The nocks on my carbon arrows turn freely and with a little force pull out.
On the Lumnocks, they work by moving forward and making the switch.0
