Redding case trimmer

I have a Redding 1400 case trimmer that I am going to get a power adapter for. Anyone using the adapter? Which is best a battery drill moter or a battery screwdriver? Anyone come up with a design for a base that holds both trimmer and drill?

  I use a batt screw driver on my Lyman. It just hangs on the end of it with the switch up.
