The powder you buy will out live you and your kids, as long as it is stored in a cool dry place

And that's my first can of pistol powder.

I suspect the final lot of PB.

But it has been great so far!

I shot up some reddot that was from the 50's. The red dots were very faint.

Back in the 70's I pulled some 5010 out of loaded 50's BMG (LC44's) ammo the hand laid on out on the ground for many years. Desert sun and winter snow storage conditions for +5 years maybe more. The powder looked ok so I put it in a peanut butter jar. Every year I check it. After about 10 years the lid started rusting inside. After a few more years the powder itself started to turn red.

I used a 8 pound can of WW-231 for 27 years until it was all gone. Some rounds are still loaded with it and still shoot just fine.
