Should be fine in a 45 ACP.

Data for 45 ACP using IMR PB available here under pistol.

It should be a tad bit snappier than Unique.

PB was made until just recently- I understand that it and a few other IMR powders have been given the ax.

Best to go by published data. Older manuals should have it if it's not listed on the site anymore. IIRC it was one of the very fast powders like bullseye.

An IMR published guide lists this data with rem cases and 2-1/2 primers:6.1gr with 185 rem mc hp for 855fps and 17900cup

    5.9gr with 200gr hdy lswc for 885fps and 17900cup

    6.0 200gr spr hp 825 17200

    5.5 230gr rem lrn 810 17900

    5.5 230gr rem mc 750 17900

Use at your own risk. when someone transposes data like this it's possible they could look at the wrong line for one of the entries. These would of course be max charges.

    Yep. Bought it last week.
    Opened it this evening.

From what I'm reading, I got close to the last batch.

I primed 50 cases this evening. And I'll load my very first rounds of anything tomorrow sometime.
I pulled the data from IMR but don't recall it now off the top of my head. I'll write it down on a notecard before I start throwing charges. And I'll have my mechanical scales to check and double check.

It's all sitting on my bench, ready to go.

    All very exciting!!!

Print out IMR's data. They might take it off the site.

    Good advice.
    I emailed it to myself.
Less likely to lose my email address than a slip of paper.

And I wrote the recipe I just loaded (with Max loads as well) on the side of the can.

I have an 8# tub I bought about a year ago, for shotgun loads. I haven't loaded a single shell and thought I might start using it for pistol, since Unique is almost impossible to find. Glad to hear there is some data out there for it.
