REm. 28 ga - small primer
A friend indicated he just bought some Rem. 28 ga. and cannot reload them because they have "small primers". I have not yet seen the shells so I can't state "how small".
Anyone heard of this?
Thought maybe they are going the .45 NT route with shotgun primers.

There were smaller primers, Remington 157 IIFC. If you look at the step on a 209 size primer the skinny part is 157 size. You could force a 209 in a 157 case, but then it's converted. 0 -
The old Remington 28 ga. and .410 hulls took a smaller diameter, but it was the #69. 0
