Operation Choke Point
I haven't been on for a while hope this isn't old news.
I saw this on several news shows (decidedly non mainstream). The DOJ is using a law passed in 1989 to combat fraud and abuse and high risk businesses from using their banks to obtain loans for their businesses. The DOJ and FDIC are pressuring banks to stop extending credit to gun and ammo manufactures, up to and including freezing accounts. Some companies that have used the same banks for DECADES are being frozen out. That includes Mom and Pop gun stores.
The last time I checked the House of Representatives had control of interstate commerce.
Don't take my word for it look it up, you have the worlds largest library on your desk now.

Is anyone really surprised? Using regulations, not laws passed by congress, to accomplish their Social/Political agenda.
Get ready..........."IT'S FOR THE CHILDREN", If just one child can be saved then isn't it worth shredding the Constitution?
Participating in DOJ's Operation Choke Point, the FDIC has classified some industries as high risk: Cable Box De-scramblers, Credit Repair Services, Dating Services, Drug Paraphernalia, Escort Services, Ponzi Schemes, Pornography, and Racist Materials, to name a few listed here. Included in this group are "Ammunition Sales" and "Firearms Sales."

I'm not sure how true this is. My friend just got all of his financing ok'd for a new gun shop. It was a private bank and the SBA. I heard the stories, but I don't know anyone else starting a gun related business. 0
