I think I have a .319 sizing die for my Lyman. I have 2 8mm bullet molds 323470 and another heavier flat nose one. I'll look in the morning.

Jacketed bullets turn up on occasion.

If your cases fit the rifle your backed off dies should work fine.

I've read but not personally verified that .005 oversize may not be too much for cast. If the rounds will chamber freely, give the bullets a try.

I checked I have both a .319 and a .321 sizer. My molds are 323470H 165 gr RC GC and 323471 215 gr Spit GC.

I would be willing to make a few of each and give them to you so you could figure out what your rifle likes.

It is possible to roll bullets between steel plates to reduce their diameter, takes practice to get repeatable results.

PM received. I need to go to town a week from today to get a shot in my left eye. I will mail them that day. Is 20 enough and I can lube them with 50/50 alox/beeswax. I think I have gas checks but I'm not exactly sure where they are these days. All my stuff got reorganized by someone else.

Charlie, I'm blown away by your thoughtfullness.

20 is great, and I don't even need gas checks. I'm just putting together a mild load for plinking. Lube is fine!

Now, what can I do for you????????????

Bullets are cast. Really hard 50+% linotype. If I don't find the gas checks in a an hour or two I'll just size/lube them. PM your address.

I'm glad to help you out. I almost bought a drilling while I was stationed in Germany. 16x16 and 5.6x52R. Dad had Savage 99 in 22 Hi Power for while. Not all impressive when up against a 222 rem.

Hi I'm still on for a shot in my eye this Thursday. I have 25 each sized and lubed in .319 and .321 ready to send if I knew where to send them. I didn't find the gas checks yet. I sent a PM did you get it?

Caught a ride to town today to much to do beside the eye shot tomorrow. 8 mm sinkers sized to .319 lubed 25 each, plus some .321 to fill out the weight limit. I forgot my wallet so only had parking meter change. Buy a box of primer on me. Hope they work put. Your rifle sounds like a nice one.

    These might work for conversion.
