20 wads Activ
I look at the 4th lyman and will change my powder load the problem is the w28 wads will not go in the hull with out bulging the the sides , I pushed the wads in with a black marker and they still had a bulging. And the Rem w29944, wwa20,w28 wads all are a little lose in the hull to me. Any help.

I'm think there must have been a hull change just like in the AA's. A slightly loose wad will expand to fit on firing and should work fine. Much better than the bulged cases that don't load correctly anyway. 0 -
I've loaded some Activ 12 ga & used AAHS wads with good results. Have not seen any 20 ga Activ. 0 -

MAYBE!!
Many years ago(when I was young and broke), I loaded some straight wall paper shells with wads designed for tapered wall plastic shells. A box of these ended up riding around under the pickup seat for a year. When fired, all the shells that had been base up went POINK instead of bang. Pulling a couple of shells down, I found most of the powder had migrated past the wad and didn't burn.0 -
I just pick up over 3,000 20ga hulls and about 1,000 w-28 wads , all kept in a good place. But the was will not go in hull without bulging the sides, even with pushing the wads in with a black marker. but this is not easy. Also pick up over 3,000 12ga but no wads. 0 -
I had several bags of AA20 wads that were correct according to the book, they would do the same thing in AA hulls marked HS. I begged friends for old non HS marked AA's hulls and scored about 100, more than enough to shoot up the wads. I gave the all the stuff and a Hornady press to the lady I loaded the 20's for after teaching her to operate it.
I guess you need to evaluate how loose your other wads are.0
