Please go to GunsAm Blog,click on News and read article Fire Your Mayor.There is a short link to access the names of mayors across USA that belong to MAIG(Mayors against illegal guns)This started as a well meaning organization to get illigal guns out of circulation.It is now a front to confiscate all firearms from legal and law abiding gun owners.Tonight I e-mailed my Mayor in Monroe,NY and asked him if he belonged to this organization since his name was on the membership list.He called me at home in about fifteen minutes and said he signed something in 2010 but did not realize it was membership in MAIG.He informed me that he has asked MAIG to take his name off the list twice and is still waiting for a reply.I will take his word for the time being.My mayor is up for re-election in about two weeks.I know we have a tyrant in Albany but never dreamed we might have one right at my door step! Please,if your mayor is on this list e-mail or call him to let your feelings be known.If anyone here on GB knows how to pull this short link into this topic,it would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.

  My mayor died 2 weeks ago. He will be missed and hard to replace.

  On March 7,2014 per request by my mayor he was removed from membership in the coalition of Mayors Against Illegal Guns.(MAIG)Thank you Mayor Purcell.
