One solution to oppressive governments run them out of office, (good luck with that one)- or- .... refusal to comply, open disobedience to illegal unconstitutional restrictions.

The old Blackwater crew will have everything they need to control us. Homeland Security will have their private army well equipped to handle everything but the inner cities which they won't have the guts to enter.

Has there been a Supreme Court test of the first law?

Seems to me there's several points that SCOTUS would overturn.

Bottom line...........anything that passes will only be applied to legal gun owners. The criminal population of N.Y. will continue to have access to anything they want. The N.Y. politicians don't have the guts to go in after them and confiscate the stuff.

Way to support fellow believers in the Constitution.

Do you think that there is not a crew in Ga working to enact theses very same kind of laws?

BTW....I do not think Southerners are stupid....you have put that label on yourself.

The SAFE Act has made criminals out of law abiding citizens already.

    A damned shame.[:(!]

If the moochers ever manage to enact that sort of nonsense in Georgia, I will MOVE instead of whining about it. A place inhabited by that sort of majority is not worth living in, anyway.

I do not hear or see whining. I see people organizing to get a crappy law repealed.

Funny, the way you talk (type), I did not figure you for someone that would cut and run when the going got tough. Is that what you'll do?

This is my home and I will fight for it. If you choose to scream like a little girl and run away, that is your choice and your legacy.

We are working on that, too.

Every time you divide gun owners....north/south.....black/white....rich/poor....no matter.....you make us weaker as a whole.

Others, from other states, are lending their support....monetary and morale. Why not you? Surely, you don't want this crap to leak out of here to other states.

I'd truly like to, but we've been spending quite a bit of our spare time here beating the bushes to try to wake up as many folks as possible to the truth about the lying Obama sycophant Michelle Nunn and the Jason Carter farce.

I apologize for being snide with you guys. I'm well aware that you're grossly outnumbered by the parasites up there, need all the help you can get.

    Good luck.

I don't think Carter has a snowballs chance. Nunn (Sam's daughter, not our esteemed Moderator) is riding on Daddy's coattails and even though he was a Dem, he was a friend to the Armed Forces and many of our Georgia industries. (And a fellow Yellow Jacket, but so was Jimmy Carter so that only goes so far) I voted for Sam on at least one occasion, but as I recall, he was unopposed most of the time.

So she is riding his goodwill to good effect , and her opponent is hindered by his last name as his cousin was Sonny Purdue who was an acceptable Governor, but many of the base are still upset with the whole state flag situation from 2004 as well as a few other tax deals he introduced. It will be a very tight Tuesday night next week. Loudermilk is unopposed, However I would have rather had Bob Barr in his place but since there was no Dem on the ticket and 6 GOP entries I would bet good money that a large number of the takers voted in the Republican runoff to defeat Bob since they really had nothing to vote on that day. (16k votes made the difference)

I voted last week. I'll be escorting MrsFun and oldest daughter on Saturday. It has been steady all week.

Been in NY since 1961. I have a second home in central Va.I have a 10 year old grandson in Cornwall NY.I do not wish to cut and run but am making plans just in case.I have never voted for a gun grabber since I came here in the Army and stayed.I WILL NOT LIVE IN A STATE GOVERENED BY A DICTATOR.King Cuomo is despised in Upstate and Western NY.I attended all the ralleys, write ltrs,e-mails and donate to the cause. The NYSRPA has has already spent over $500,000 in legal fees.Hopefully the NY Safe(Usafe)Act of 2013 will make it to the US Supreme Court.A Federal Judge in Buffalo struck down the seven round limit.Last Saturday we demonstrated in Suffern,Mount Kisco(Cuomo's love nest)and Long Island.Sunday we covered Middletown NY.I even talked to Cuomo's bodyguards in Mount Kisco.I suppose I am on their radar now. They were very nice to us and very professional.About 5 days ago Astorino was up by one point with the men in NY.With the women Cuomo is up by about 20 points. This election is not about Astorino,it is about corruption and getting rid of Cuomo. You have to start somewhere. Please get out there and vote Nov.4th.We can do it if we all vote.Even if you are not registered they can not stop you from voting. We need a miracle! Sam Nunn was a good man, as was Zell Miller. I voted for both of them as they were the best choice at that time. Things were very different then - those guys were conservatives; it was before socialists had taken over the Democrat Party.

This time I think Amanda Swofford is the best choice, but she's a crazy extremist who believes in reducing spending and operating within an actual budget, replacing the tax code, adherence to the constitution, and relying on individual responsibility and initiative instead of government.

    How nutty can you get?

    Same message I preach.

If you don't like the way things are, you're primary way to change things is to vote those in office....out of office.

    Hi, Raymond.

At this point the people of NYS can do resistance demonstration by not complying.

Albany knows that and this is probably why they have new plans in place. By drying up not only the supply of firearms but the ammo as well they know they can impact those who choose not to comply with registration.

The only way if AC gets back in and pushes this through is to have buddies make deliveries to you with ammo from the free zones (I cannot believe we are actually to the point that we have free and restricted zones in this nation).

In 1989 My bride of 50 years now and I saved up our vacation time for two years bought a new truck and drove across North America.Crossed at Fargo,ND into Regina,Canada across to Alaska Highway and up the Pipeline.Over 10,000 miles round trip.It was our 25th Anniversary.Stopped at a small gun shop on the Tok Cut Off in Tok,Alaska. Was looking at some pistols at counter and older gentleman walked over and said "Son can I help you." Bear in mind I am really not a kid at 46.Don't know why I was looking at pistols because I am really a rifleman.Knowing the hoops I had to jump thru to get my UNRESTRICTED NY permit back I believe in Mario Cuomo's time,I asked what Alaskans had to go thru to get a pistol permit? There was a long pause and he looked me dead in the eyes and replied "Son what permit,I don't think you realize we are still FREE up here." For a long time I think my heart stopped beating,This man was not bragging and I could read the immense pride in his face. The 2nd Ammendment is not a privilege,it is our right.I will remember this man's words until the day I die.
