Browning A5 1903
I`ve not seen this shotgun. It is one of the first made by John Browning and imported in to the US. It has a lot of engraving on. Not much info in my books on it or price. Any info at all would help. "Thanks"

Got this from the Browning web site, ( in red).
Value/demand, would depend on factory originality and condition.
Most older shotguns I have run into over the years. Have seen heavy use. And were pretty well thrashed.
"1903-1939"--- "First 10,000 shipped to U.S. Marked with BROWNING AUTOMATIC ARMS CO. OGDEN UTAH-U.S.A."--- Very few serial number records remain.--- Beginning with Serial Number 1 to approximately 228,000, in 1939.--- Exact production figures are not available. Year of manufacture on Pre-World War II production, is strictly a guess"0 -
just to note; John Browning never 'made' any A-5's (proto type excepted), he sold the mgf. rights to F/N (later Remington and Savage)with the rights to sell thier shotguns in the U.S. 0
