Sir: I thought you would be the person to answer my question with a Favorite Quote like yours "Real MEN own and shoot a WINCHESTER Single-Shot!"
What is the Bible / Best book on Winchester single shot rifles?? Would either of these two books be on your list to own? THE WINCHESTER SINGLE SHOT (John Campbell) or THE WINCHESTER SINGLE SHOT- Volume 2 by John Campbell? If neither of these two book work, In your option what is/are the best book for info and photos.

  I own a copy of both books, and they are well worth having in your library. John Campbell did a very good job overall with both editions, but there are several areas where improvements can be made. Eventually I am going to publish a more detailed analysis of the Model 1885, but it is taking an extraordinary amount of time and research to compile all of the statistical details that I feel need to be in the published work.

  I'm not Bert, so forgive me for butting in. I, too, have both books and have thoroughly enjoyed them both. There is a ton of information in them.
