Remington 121 breech block

Does anyone know if the 121 breech block with a round firing pin will work in a 121 that had the flat firing pin?

  The breech block will work, but needs to be checked for head space. These are not plug-n-play. Also, I would make sure if it was for a round firing pin, that I used a round firing pin. The 22 rimfire does not seem like much, but it does operate near 25,000psi.

  Before I read your reply I called Remington and they said that the round one would not work, so I am confused.
