Can anyone tell me how to post photos? I seem to be unable to figure it out.

Most any decent SLR camera on the market today will take good photos (Canon, Nikon, Sony). The trick is to get the lighting and background correct so that you don't have a lot of reflections on the firearm. A good tripod and soft, diffused lighting combined with longer exposure times will help with this. 0 -
You don't even need a pricey SLR for excellent quality gun photos. As diffused indirect lighting, is the most important factor in quality photos.
I've been using one of these Cannons D 10's, mounted on a table top tripod. For years now with excellent results. Long as I use reflected diffused light, to illuminate the handgun. With long exposures, excellent quality photos are obtained.
I can't emphasize enough, though. The knowledge of diffuse reflected lighting,is the most important factor. As long as you know your lighting, you will able to take great gun pictures.

Pay attention to file size. Some places have limits and if your pic's are too big you can't load them. There are free editing software programs that will let you crop or otherwise resize or format your images. Colored grease pencil in stamps can help and is easy to clean out of metal. 0
