Privi Partizan
is this brass any good for multiple loadings or is it one and done

I've reloaded it in 45 ACP. The only thing I remember, negative about it. Were the tight primer pockets. This just might have been, with one single lot though. Just reloaded couple boxes that I had fired.
When I was able to get my hands on a bunch of once fired Winchester. Chucked the Yugo brass.
The reloading life of brass is determined by your loads, and the gun(s) your firing them in. The 45's I was loading, with the Privi Partizan. Were light target loads. I'm sure the brass, would have stood up for multiple loadings.
Years ago I loaded red line loads, for a 10 mm Glock with a factory barrel. All my fired brass had happy faces. Didn't have rocks enough, to reload the stuff. Gave it away, to be sold for scrap.0 -
The first CF rifle brass that Privi imported here had annealing problems and prone to split with a first reload. Easy fix with annealing. Privi quickly corrected that, and I haven't heard of any problems since.
I've heard that the Winchester white box brass was contracted to Privi, but haven't found anything to prove it fact or fiction yet. Anyone know for sure?0 -
I have used PP brass to form 35 whelen. Worked fine. 0 -

Different types of Winchester White Box ammo have been subcontracted to various manufacturers at various times.
EG, I know that at one point the 9mm luger and .223 were made in Israel. Some of this ammo is made by Sellier and Belloit in the Czech Republic. Obviously, some is made right here in the USA.
I've never heard of this before, but I certainly wouldn't be surprised if some of the WWB ammo is made by Privi Partizan in Serbia.
Look closely on the box and see if you can identify a country of origin for your ammo. If it says "Serbia" on the box, or has the letters "PP" or "PPU" on the headstamp, then its a pretty safe bet that its Privi-Partizan made ammo.0 -
I've used a fair amount of PP and it works fine, but I've noticed the "tight primer pocket" issue too, except in 308. A bit of a PITA, I use Winchester primers and they go in a bit easier.
I'm using PP brass for a 22 Hornet, Sierra load book says 11.5 grains of IMR 4227 is a "best accuracy" load with 40 grain RN, Hornady goes to 11.8 with the same bullet. Using 11.5 gives me a full case, 11.8 would overflow. A little tapping settles it a bit, but I suspect case capacity of the PP 22 Hornet is a touch less than other brass.0 -
I got 1000 for my M1A (308 Win) about five years ago. Got through it's "five reloads & done" with no issues. I did notice the headstamps were getting pretty faint on the last go-round.
Bottom line: I'd buy again without concern. Didn't notice tight primer pockets.
It weighed out more uniformly than LC Match by a long shot. Hardly any outside the "2 sigma window" I use for the longer range stuff.0 -
I use Privi Brass in 22-250 and 7X57 with no issues at all. Many pieces of 22-250 I am on my 7th load and with the 7X57 I have 10 loads. In my book it is good brass that holds up well. 0 -
I've got some 9.3x62, .22/.250, and 6.5x55 and probably some others that I don't recollect now. Haven't had any issues but haven't loaded any 10+ times yet, either. 0 -
I use PP exclusively in the milsurps: 8x57, 7x57, 7x65. 8x56 Carcanos, japs etc and have loaded a number of cases well over 10 times and brass is still good. PP is all you can find.
I have some 8 Lebel I have loaded 20 times and use 8 Lebel to make 41 Swiss. I never lost any PP in fireforming as testimony to its durability. I also use 8x56 to make 8x50 Siamese.
IMHO, PP is much better than WW, RP and FC. Only Lapua and Norma surpasses PP.0 -
I used 22h, 223, 6mm 6.5x55, 303, 7x57 & 7mm-08 for years , the 22H is minimum 20 reloads , 5 without a clean, 5th clean 10th full sized & on again. no problems so far & accuracy is swell. good luck. 0
