Barrel twist, part 2
Loaded up some 7mm Mag in 139gr.SP Hornady I4064 and 150gr SP Hornady I4831 and I bought a box of Hornady 162gr SST with 62 gr of I4831. Figured to start with the 162's and didn't look any further. First 3 shots we could cover with a dime at 100yds. Adjusted to 1 1/2 high and fired 4 that could be covered with a nickel. Used a 4x12 Leupold and a Caldwell sled.
Went home and pulled all the 139's and changed to 162's with 62 Gr. Didn't run through the chronograph but book puts it at a tick less than 3000 fps
Ready for bear season!
Thanks guys !

Well done. I wouldn't have pulled the bullets, they could be fouling rounds unless you really need the brass. 162 Hornady is my go to 7mm bullet. 0
