Our Loss
Tonight I am going to a visitation for a man many of you have heard of, Harvey E. "Ted" Gundy. If the name doesn't ring a bell, think back to the episode of Impossible Shots when they followed the old WWII vet to Georgia to try out his 1000 yard shot. He ended up being 3 for 5. Not too shabby for a man in his 80's. In his obituary they mention that a lot of people remember Ted as being the guy who would show them the mouse he kept in the hole in his wooden leg, that and that he always had candy or gum for kids of all ages. Try that today. He was a very kind man who always had time for helping teach youngsters about hunting or shooting, or helping you work up a load for a favorite rifle. We will say goodbye to him tonight but it will be a long time before he is forgotten. By the way, his visitation is being held at the local VFW as per his wishes, a Patriot even past the end.
