Browning high power Help
A friend of mine has a Browning high power in electroless nickel, it's not a bright nickel but more like brushed nickel. He was told by a Brownimg collector that these guns were built only in 1988. Does anyone one know anything about these guns and what they might be worth?

Nothing in my references on HP's, in electroless nickel. There were numbers imported, in what BAC called silver chrome finish.
A certain part of the serial number in letters, will be the date. The date for 1988 is "PP".
Need quality close-up photos, for identification and valuation.0 -
A friend of mine had one and IIRC the box called it "Frosted Nickle", a good looking pistol, couldn't talk him out of it. 0 -
How about asking Browning Customer Service? I have seen one Belgian made, appeared unfired, in a nickel finish. No letter prefix to SN 0 -

Yours should be worth $12-1400.
Here's mine, not silver, but rare [;)]
