Redfield Jr mauser scope mount

I have an 1891 Mauser that has been drilled and tapped for a 3 screw mount. I have been told that a Redfield Jr mauser scope mount will fit it. Is there one that is for small ring mausers or will the one made for the 98 possibly work? thanks

  There are SEVERAL Redfield Jr. mounts for the various Mausers. You need one that is for small ring, SHORT length actions (there are also standard length small ring actions). What is the distance on your rifle between the rear mount attaching screw hole, and the rearmost front attaching screw hole?

  there are only 3 holes...2 in front and one in rear.. the distance that u ask for is 4 1/8 inches.

  richarda...it seems I bought the wrong one as it said small ring but I didn't know(nor did the seller)about short length action mounts. The mount I bought is too long( rear hole don't line up)
  
  Any info about where to get one or the length would be great.. thanks
