Remington 8 or 81 Tang sight screw thread pitch?

Anyone know the thread per inch for the tang sight screw used for Remington Model 8 or 81. I sold a Marbles sight with a screw and purchaser says the screw is wrong. Only turns in about 2 threads. Thanks

  This the Marbles version. Screw looks big like a #12 or larger.
