1100 barrel question
Would I be correct in my assumption that all 1100 barrels in 28 gauge would be interchangeable since there are no lw versions in 28 gauge, and that all of the chambers are 2.75"? Thanks.

Should work...The 20 Ga. 1100 is the only goofed up model...Started off with the Standard weight (same frame as the 12 Ga.) Then went with the "LW".. That one used a barrel with a short tang (like the 870) That one didn't last too long..I think the gas operation put too much stress on the ejector and they kept shearing off.. Repair required messing up the finish on the receiver, and a reblue at the factory..
The last 20 Ga. iteration is the present "LT" model.. The barrels have a long tang with the ejector on the tang..just like the old Standard weight

No. I had a short tang 870 barrel that wouldn't interchange with a long tang barrel. 0
