Were lyman Alaskan scopes with G&H sidemount bases ever used on the Springfield 1903 sniper rifles?

  The scopes used on 1903 snipers were 8X Unertl and, much earlier, Warne & Swazy. If you meant 03-A4 WWII sniper rifles, again, no. They were set up with Redfield mounts and Weaver scopes. Lyman Alaskans were approved as substitute standards but the war ended before they were needed. G&H side mounts were not used on either rifle.

  Thanks for the info. I know the weaver scopes were the 330's

  Maybe somebody was thinking about an M1-C which used a G&H side mount.
