Help Identify Strange Old Gun Part

I bought out an old gun shop and got tons of parts. Here is something I can't ID. Can you help ?

  Looks like it was in a fire. Put some oil on it.

  DEFFINETLY a bolt stop/ejector but unlike any 'mauser' I've seen with that 'step/down'.
