Winchester Front Sights
Hello All,
Is Winchester the only gun manufacturer that made the 3/8" dovetail front sights that used the left side retaining screw? Two I came across have no names on them and nothing on the bottom but are stamped on the top right side, "3" and "00". Haven't been able to find anything in Stroebels books either or the internet. Thank you for your time.

Jim,
Short answer to your first question is "No". The set screw is actually on the right side of the sight (pointed downrange).0 -
Bert,
Do you know who made the opposite style?0 -
I have not ever seen "the opposite style". All fronts sights used by Winchester that have a set screw, are on the right side. 0 -
Not something I know much about, but I think that the Remington model 25 had a sight like that. 0
