Price check- S&W Model 37 Flat Latch

Have an opportunity to buy- round butt, gun is about 98%, not even a turn line on cylinder, probably fired less than a box of ammo, but HAS been fired.

I checked here at GB under closed auctions- but the early 37s appear scarcer than hen's teeth.

Any thoughts on a decent price for one? Yeah, free would be real good, but that ain't happenin!

  Don't know what the current FMV is? Check headspace and timing very carefully though.
  
  I had one of the M 37, Chief Specials airweights, years ago. They are not durable guns. Made for carrying, not shooting. That I learned the hard way, to my dismay.

  box would do wonders to the retail value,,,450-without,,650 + with, imo,ballparky
