For all of you Winchester experts: How can I tell a genuine Model 43 clip from an aftermarket? Did they have a 2nd design? Mine is similar but different than one on the auction side which seller states is genuine Winchester. I would post pictures but I don't know how(too old). Thanx. Jim

  Photo of one off the net. Appears to be original. Doubt if repo's would be marked. As the 43 was made over a period of years in different calibers. Perhaps the mags were not all the same?

  The clip that Rufe-Snow pictured is just like mine but mine is unmarked. I have seen 3 round, 4 round and 5 round clips for the model 43 in 22 Hornet. I happen to have the 4 round version, that is why nothing looked right until Rufe-Snow posted the picture of the 4 round clip.
