    1999 the first two digits of the serial #. pre Remlin. Check the completed auctions under the advanced search.

    I don't think the early Remlins are all that good.

    As I understand it? There is a formula using the first two numerals of the serial number. Subtract 99 from 100, and add that to the year 2000.

    I make it to be 2001. Which if correct? Would be years before Remington, bought out Marlin.

    Check the completed/sold Marlin's, on the auction side. For current fair market value.

    What Rufe-Snow said 2001 Remington bought Marlin 2008 and the Marlin plant closed 2010

    The proof marks on one made in the Marlin plant are "JM", while the ones done in the Remington facility are "REP"an oval.
