Savage 99C Magazines
I've got 2 magazines listed on the auction side, I was told they where for a Savage 99C in 308. An interested bidder emailed me this morning stating they where for a Browning BLR. I did some research, and they look nothing like BLR magazines. I can not find a picture of a Savage 99C magazine to compare with. Can one of you help me out?

Hi W.D.~
I think the bidder is correct.. Yours look like they're for the early steel receiver BLR..

Yes, I did some more research, I think he is correct. There where only four magazine fed rifles in 358 Win, Winchester 88 &100, BLR and Savage 99C. They are damn sure not Winchester mags, so that leaves Savage or BLR. I'm not sure if Savage made a 99C in 358 Win. I finally found an auction for a BLR in 358, and the magazine is the same. The first BLR mag I looked at was 30-06, or something close, didn't look the same.
Any way, thanks for all the help, gotta go change my auction.
