Mossberg 183T Bolt Action Shotgun

My father-in-law brought me his shotgun that wasn't feeding and ejecting properly. My question---Is this supposed to have two extractors. the right one is there, it has a pin going vertically through it. on the left side is a groove and a detent for maybe a spring, but no extractor. also there is no hole for a pin, was it peened in place and this one fell out?

  Yes, they slide in from the front and are peened in place like a Rem870 shell interruptor.
