Did Ruger Stop

Called my local gun shop to order a Ruger # 1B in 22-250 and he told me they stopped making that cal.? He said I could order a 220 or 222 or a few other larger cal. but no 250. what's up with that any one no if ruger stopped making the #1 in 22-250. Thanks

  Looking on Ruger.com for you, they are making very few No 1s at all, and only on order from Lipsey's.

  Last I heard Ruger is making each version of the #1 in one caliber per year.

  Yep if you want one in that caliber you will have to find one on GB or a gunshow(plenty still new in the box). Ruger has been focusing more on AR15's, and Semi Auto pistols these days. The Ruger #1 is a great gun but doesn't sell as well as their bolt action hunting rifles or handguns.

  Ruger41; likely because few if any will ever wear their No. 1's out! What a wonderful tank! Loved my number 3; rue the day she departed.
