Ballistol

Hello,
Has anyone had any problems using
Ballistol on nickel plated handguns?
Especially on old handguns where the nickel
has small cracks over metal seams in places?
If so, maybe you could recommend a cleaner.

  Never had a problem in any way with Ballistol . I will say That old nickle that has hairline Cracks is damage that you can't really fix IMHO the cause is the base metal has in some way been exposed to the elements through these cracks and will only get worst . I would not try and Bore cleaner or KROIL that's for sure. but Ballistol would be what I would use.
