Had 1897 and Terminater 12GA but both were terminated by my: NOK-Next of Kin while ME was in Nervous Hospital. Shot both and really liked the Lever. Noticed a Trench model now. Are the same complaints still out there? Thanks.

If by complaints you mean these shotguns are a pain in the neck--then yes the complaints are still around. They are very ammo picky and many folks still have lots of jamming problems. These guns come from China so you really can't expect much from them. Personally I'd look at other options for a scattergun. Chiappa has a couple of versions but I cannot tell from their website if they are Chinese or if these are made in Italy. Either way they are darn expensive for a gun that needs at least $300 more in a tune up to run properly. 0
