Where's the serial # on a colt official police revolver? 9xxx on bottom of grip, but most guns for sale are listed with a # in 500000 or so. Thanks

What's the # on the grip frame bottom? The pawn shop where I traded for this gun had it listed on his books by the # on the bottom of the grip frame (9176).

It could be anything? Badge #, Rack #, Inventory #.

IMHO, it would be best for you to go back to the pawnshop. And have him put the correct frame serial number, on your BOS and the 4473. To cover your butt, just in case.
