A friend of mine had a model 12 12 ga that when we attempt to re assemble the gun the action bar won't lock into the bolt despite the locking bar on the bolt being in the right position, it binds when we attempt to pump it to lock the bar into the bolt, any ideas fellas

  sounds like something internal is not in place correctly, action should work smooth as silk when cleaned and reassembled, check everything again.

  The bolt may not be locked in battery during the barrel reattachment. Remove the trigger assy and see if the bolt is loose or locked in place. If it's not locked first, it will all jam up during the attempt to cycle
