S&W 45 Recon

A friend has a S&W 45 Recon 1911, NIB with pocket knife with matching serial number. According to the Blue Book, the last MSR was $1,022 in 1998. I looked on the auction side, non listed. The guy is wanting to sell it for $1,600. I'm thinking that is about what it's worth, meaning not much room for profit. What say you?

  Try 45 Recon. I found it in the Blue Book, but can't find a current value.

  THe auction side shows a few used ones, and the most recent ones have sold for between $800.00-900.00. I would say that anything north of $1000.00-1100.00, is a little pricey.
